Rear Wing Spoiler installation Cougar 1969-70.

If you bought a aftermarket rear spoiler for your 69-70 Cougar you will have the -70 bolt pattern meassurements. The 69 Cougar had originally narrower installed pedestals. If you have a -70 lid there are cutouts in the frame of the lid, if you have a -69 you have to make these cutouts.

Från sidan av luckan ca 19,05 cm. För att placera vingen rätt så mät från bakkant på lucka runt böjen, utan kromlist monterad, ca 21,6 cm till första (bakre hålet, 26,7 till främre hålet. Det kan vara en bra ide att mäta ut centrum först och ev. justera för det, mät också vingen och kontrollera mått innan du borrar. Mät 2 ggr borra en gång. :)

"From the side of the lid, the holes are 7 1/2 inches (~19,05 cm) in to center of hole, from the back lip, they are 8 1/2 (~21,6 cm) for the first hole (center), and 10 1/2 (~26,7 cm) for the 2nd. hole (center). The lip measurement is from under the lip without chrome and tape tight over the bend to get the measurments."

Install the pedestals and wing correct, now and then i see rear wings installed backwards.

The pedestals shall lean backwards and the cutted edge of the wing pointing backwards.

The 69 spoiler should be black, and the -70 should be the cars exterior color.
