End of Summer Power Meet Emmaboda Sweden Video.

A short video by me from Emmaboda "End of Summer Power Meet from yesterday August 27 2016.
This is the second largest US Car Meet in Sweden.
The Largest in Sweden and also in The World is Big Power Meet in Västerås.

My Cat..

A Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible 1970 with a 351C-4V, a 4 speed Hurst-Toploader and 3:25 Trac-Loc. This is a H-code and not a number matching car.

The motor and transmission comes from a Mustang -70 due to the ID- numbers. The motor got an overhaul 1986, i have a bundle of reciepts of that. The car is hardly driven at all after that. The car and motor runs really strong.

I bougth the car from Garden Grove, CA in 2010.
It is totaly rust free and i have done a repaint to its original color, somewhere down the line somebody resprayed it red.

I also have replaced all rubber seals and put on a set of 15" Cougar Styled Steel Wheels with BF G:s 255 in rear and 235 in front.

The car had been sitting in a garage for over 20 years and got a overhauled carb, a new gas tank, carpet and a new conv. top. before i shipped it overseas to me here i Sweden.

In August 2010 the odo read 49161 miles.
I have a invoice from 1986 with the odo written down, it says 43960 miles.

This Cat is a early -70. It had a 351W-2V and auto transm.
White top w glass and white interior with black appointments.
Now the interior is all black.

This is 1 of 12 registered XR7 conv. 1970 in Sweden.
The Cat is in exellent shape and only needs som minor things fixed to be perfect. Door handles, back-up lights, rear conv. mouldings arent perfect but isnt that bad either. I have the original rocker mouldings, the trunk moulding have a minor dent. I've pimped the car with a Eliminator gas lid emblem.

It is a original AC car and i have it still, but i deassembled it due to it was out of order and i think its overkill with AC, atleast up here in north of Europe.
